Frequently asked questions about acoustic treatment

Can't I just use cheap foam from Amazon?

Amazon's pyramid foam absorbs somewhat at mid and high frequencies, but does nothing below 500Hz. The real problems in a home studio (room modes, uncontrolled bass) are between 50-300Hz. Our high-density foam panels (28 kg/m³) and bass traps are specifically designed for those frequencies.

How many panels do I need?

It depends on your room size, construction materials, and usage type. Our free configurator calculates the exact amount in 2 minutes. As a reference: a 10m² home studio typically needs 8-12 panels + 4 bass traps.

Are they difficult to install?

No. Panels are glued to the wall with acoustic adhesive or hung with included brackets. No drilling or construction needed. Full installation takes 1-2 hours.

Is acoustic treatment the same as soundproofing?

No, they're very different things. Soundproofing prevents sound from entering or leaving the room — it requires construction. Acoustic treatment improves how the room sounds inside — it's installed on existing surfaces.

Can I return the panels?

Yes. You have a 14-day right of withdrawal from receipt of order, in accordance with Spanish law.

Can the panels be painted?

Absorber panels are available in anthracite and burgundy. QRD diffusers are white and can be painted with water-based paints.
